Citi Looking for IT Project Manager – C12 at Pune, Maharashtra Full Time

The IT Project Manager provides full leadership and supervisory responsibility. Provides operational/service leadership and direction to team(s). Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge through provision of value-added perspectives or advisory services. May contribute to the development of new techniques, models, plans within area of expertise and PMO Processes. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Generally has responsibility for volume, quality, timeliness of end results and shared responsibility for planning and budgets. Work affects an entire area, which eventually affects the overall performance and effectiveness of the sub-function/job family. Full supervisory responsibility, ensuring motivation and development of team through professional leadership to include duties such as performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary and terminations as well as direction of daily tasks and responsibilities.

Qualifications:
6-10 years of project management experience – preferably from a financial services environment

PMP certification strongly preferred, Six Sigma a plus

Should be well-versed in Agile – User Story Mapping, Backlog Prioritization and Management and Jira

Proficient in MS Office applications, MS Project, VISIO, Adobe Acrobat Professional.

Ability to develop project plans, manage individual deadlines and goals.

Knowledge of project metrics, including gathering, reporting, trend analysis, creation, and metrics.

Ability to identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using basic root cause analysis.

Assess impact of project scope changes, determining and conveying impact on budget, time and risk.

Proven interpersonal, data analysis, diplomatic, management and prioritization skills

Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication

Proven ability to manage multiple activities and build/develop working relationships

Proven self-motivation to take initiative and master new tasks quickly

Demonstrated ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail

Stays abreast of current industry trends and new technology through professional associations, trade journals, networking, and associated training and seminars

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
