Claranet Looking for DevOps IT Engineer at Remote Full Time

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

Deploy updates and fixes

Develop apps/scripts to integrate with internal backend systems

Perform root cause analysis for production errors

Investigate and resolve technical issues

Develop scripts to automate infrastructure visualization

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate, support pentesting team with their requirements.

Handle important IT operations such as Operating systems, Security tools, VPN etc. This includes training environments, internal systems and public assets.

Build tools to improve/ optimize current infrastructure

Strategize ways to automate and improve development and deployment

Optimize cloud environments for AWS and others as needed

Leverage Infrastructure as a Code technology to Optimize Infrastructure.

Ensuring that necessary systems are patched and updated to protect against cybersecurity threats

Planning, research, and delivery of longerterm Infrastructure Projects.

Track and maintain hardware and software inventory and procurement.

Develop, and execute regular data backup strategies for critical resources

Working with pentesters to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended

About You

2+ years experience

Good with Linux Systems administration and experience in a wide variety of Linux Distributions

Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role

Proficient with git and git workflows

Good knowledge of Ruby or Python

Good knowledge of Setting up Infrastructure for Developers requirements

Well versed with Virtualization Concepts/ Implementation

Experience with automation tools of Infrastructure / Configuration. Eg Ansible, Terraform

Capability to work in a highly technical environment, complementing their Infrastructure requirements
