The role is part of the Cognizant’s Cloud, Infrastructure and Security (CIS) Services BU Solution Group, catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services, transformation etc across all verticals. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, workshops, due diligence etc.

Good knowledge on various service assurance, automation tools
Good knowledge on ITIL / ITSM process and tools
Proven track-record of working in a fast-paced environment and demonstrating strong complex problem-solving skills.
Good knowledge on various pricing models, IT spend analysis, business case development, TCO and ROI analysis
Good knowledge on industry IT trends and analyst reports
Good knowledge on various TPA processes such as Gartner, Everest, Forrester, ISG, BCG, HfS, IDC etc
Should have lead / owned the solution and commercials of large pursuits more than 10M USD TCV
Responsibilities:
End to end responsibility of creating solution and commercials response for proactive and reactive requirements as part of business development / new business acquisition / extension of existing business
Primary focus will be leading solution and commercials for ITO pursuits including Managed Services, Digital Transformation, Rebadging and Assets
Work directly with client, sales, delivery, TPA and partners throughout the sales process
Define solution strategy, estimation, commercial construct and unique differentiators, value propositions based on the customer objectives
Lead solution workshop, MVD / CAS sessions, Due Diligence and various pursuit related workshops and interface with client and TPA
Collaboratively work with all internal and external stakeholders in designing a winnable solution
Responsible for creation of differentiated solutions that meets the customer requirements.
Detail and articulation of solutions and ensure completeness of the same
Formulate re-usable bid components to achieve maximum utilization
Develop winning themes, SWOT and competitor analysis for the pursuit
Manage and mentor a team of junior solution managers
Profile:
10-15 year experience in cross-cultural and Top 10 outsourcing organizations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills (the ability to think logically through a problem)
Must have the initiative, tenacity and commitment to see problems through to resolution
Able to respond to and resolve client queries and requests in a timely manner
A flexible approach with “Can do” attitude and ability to work well under pressure
Strong IT market awareness and knowledge or emerging trends and technologies.
Exudes enthusiasm and optimism at all times.
Focused on delivering a high-quality solution to clients, both internal and external.
Self-motivated with a flexible and dynamic style.
Able to shape effective, creative and innovative solutions, deliverable at acceptable business profit levels.

Must be fully flexible and mobile.
Flexibility to accommodate short domestic and international business travel upto 2 months
Should not have any earlier US Business Visa rejections or US entry restrictions
Should have undertaken minimum 2 – 5 internal business travels
Preferred to have a US B1/2 visa
