Continental Looking for Project Manager – Tire Information Systems at Bengaluru, Karnataka Full Time
Your tasks
Lead project planning sessions to set project goals and objectives, determine timelines, define tasks, and outline resources necessary to successfully complete the project.
Select and manage a team from among internal and external stakeholder organizations and initiate Project kick off.
Perform the risk analysis and prepare a risk management plan to minimize foreseeable disruptions to the project.
Use an ePSR tracking tool to coordinate different elements of the project.
Follow standard processes as defined in the Continental PLC or Project Management Institute (PMI).
Frequently ensure Customer / Supplier engagement through project plans, schedules, project tracking, budget and resource allocation, Gantt charts, and Risk analysis
Organize regular status and review meetings as necessary, including generating and distributing meeting minutes
Synthesize and analyze data to prepare accurate financial forecasts and reports
Gather resources, identify potential constraints based on activities and timeframes, and define solutions to manage any constraints
Manage relevant Project budgets ensure on track by using the Global PS tool.
To be part of Development projects and able to handle different disciplines like HW,SW,ME, SYS and arrive at the conscience, take team at towards desired output.
Report regularly to management and relevant stakeholders on the progress of the project, challenges, resolutions, and alterations
Conduct project reviews, including creating detailed reports for executive staff and identifying areas for future improvement
Ensure all project deliverables, deadlines, and client expectations are met
Need to handle the change requests arising from Internal / External stake holders and take into consideration of all the impacted areas, drive for implementation at the stipulated time.
Optimize and improve processes, identify growth opportunities, and initiate new projects

Your profile
Bachelor’s degree plus a higher degree (MBA, PG Diploma or other certifications) in a related technical field
8 to 12 years relevant work experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated expertise in project management through all phases of a project life cycle
Working knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and programs including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
Expertise with project management software (eg. Microsoft Project, Primavera)
Advanced negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
Strong management, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Ability to present technical information clearly and concisely at a level appropriate to the target audience
Ability to solve problems by systematically analyzing issues, drawing logical conclusions, and recommending practical solutions
Demonstrated ability to effectively direct, coordinate, and follow up with team members to ensure timely completion of project deliverables
Ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage the workload of multiple projects
Proven ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
Advanced knowledge of project management best practices and methodologies and commitment to improving internal practices
PMP certified is added advantage.
