About this role:
You will be on the front line of defense for tickets related to all of our internal employees globally. You will play a role in troubleshooting, building and maintaining our growing, international IT footprint which is critical to the company’s success. You will have a hands-on role with significant expectations to contribute both technically and culturally.
Troubleshoot, administrate, and support the company’s global technology infrastructure across Virginia, Texas, Oregon, California, Utah, Georgia, Canada, London, and India.
What You Will Be Doing:
Manage day-to-day IT operations, coordinate with the global and regional teams to improve operational management, processes, and best practices for the Service Desk team.
Perform as a subject matter expert for the global end user compute (EUC) environment including installation, maintenance, configuration of all IT hardware, software, printers, and scanners
As a member of the infrastructure team this role will be responsible for problem management, incident management and IT security as it concerns the EUC.
Collaborate with different teams such as networking, security etc. within the company to get the latest technologies.
Strong familiarity with Windows & Mac OS, and best practices around driver management, BIOS updates, settings, etc.
Exposure to ITSM & CRM tools like JIRA & Salesforce etc.
Track and monitor all hardware and software support cases to ensure timely resolution and follow-up under the defined SLAs.
Coordinate with team members to provide support for new systems, projects, and upgrades.
What You Need for this Position:
Degree in Technology or an equivalent focus
Should have experience on managing IT Infrastructure management inhouse support and operations.
Have a mix of technical and customer service skills and be passionate about technology and helping people.
Broad knowledge with industry standard platforms, including Windows and Mac OS, Active Directory, SCCM, SSO, Office 365, JIRA etc.
Good Understanding of ITIL concepts.
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, the ability to hunt down a problem and find a solution
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Self-motivation and the ability to work under minimal supervision are a must
