Roles and Responsibility

Pre-requisites (Mandatory Skills):

• Must have worked as a Solution Architect for at least 2 years in .NET Technologies.
• Hands-on experience in developing web services. Must have good knowledge of SOAP, REST based services (WebAPI)
• Hands-on experience in data formats such as XML & JSON. Must be well versed with XSL, Xpath, Xquery
• Hands-on experience in DevSecOps lifecycle using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jenkins
• Must have built cloud-native or cloud-ready solutions in Azure or AWS
• Must have hands-on experience in troubleshooting Docker and Kubernetes environments.
• Hands-on experience in Middleware Technologies like Azure Service Bus/AWS SQS, Apache Kafka, Redis Cache
• Good working knowledge of SQL Server and must have good SQL query writing skills.
• Good knowledge of NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Azure Cosmos DB, AWS Dynamo DB, Cassandra
• Must possess good application design skills with UML, Design patterns, and database design.
• In-depth knowledge of at least one design/modeling tool such as Enterprise Architect, VISIO/Lucid Charts
• Must have experience in handling technology consulting assignments.
• Must have very good oral and written communication skills
• Must have the ability to effectively present solutions to business and technical groups and drive them toward a common goal/objective.
• Must have undertaken onsite assignments in consulting roles to provide technical solutions to business-critical problems, proof-of-concepts, and architecture evaluation for customers/partners.
• Must have hands-on experience in preparing project plans, task plans, and tracking sheets.

Pre-requisites (Preferred Skills):

• Good knowledge on anyone Javascript Frameworks like AngularJS / REACTJS
• Good knowledge of Hybrid Mobile Technologies such as Xamarin / Ionic Framework / Jquery Mobile
• Good at Troubleshooting technical problems/issues
• Identifying solutions to key challenges

Responsibilities:

• Manage an application portfolio and set the technology directions for the same.
• Perform Architectural Analysis/Reviews, Evaluation of products/tools, Portfolio assessments, Gap analysis, and build technical roadmaps.
• Identify means of reducing the TCO of a portfolio through application portfolio rationalization. Should be able to view the big picture and suggest value-adds for the business.
• Build Reference Architectures and conduct workshops to validate them.
• Translate demanding business needs to end-to-end solution architectures.
• Define Process & Governance models by aligning with Business & IT teams.
• Perform research initiatives and undertake proof-of-concepts.
• Participate in presales calls, present capability/offerings/case studies, and prepare technical approaches for RFP / RFI
