The Service Desk Analyst will use technical trouble-shooting ability, problem solving skills, and excellent
customer service attitude to serve our customers. This role is responsible for providing the first-line
telephone/email technical support of hardware, systems, sub-systems, and/or applications for
customers and/or employees – including deskside support. The Service Desk Analyst also answers basic
questions about installation, operation, configuration, customization, and usage of assigned products.
This role applies basic diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate causes, and recommend
solutions to correct common failures, as well as escalates complex problems to higher levels of expertise
within organization.
Responsibilities will also include configuration and administration of Service Desk Call Management
Software (CA Unicenter product suite), performing the Asset Management function for the organization,
and helping to automate business processes as related to IT Support.
