Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in networking environments.
• Experience working in an enterprise networking environment.
• Ability to work non-standard work hours as needed.

Preferred qualifications:

• 4 years of experience in implementing and/or supporting large/wide area networks.
• Experience in operating an enterprise/corporate network.
• Expert knowledge of fundamental networking technologies and protocols (e.g., ARP, Ethernet, DHCP, IPSec, GRE, WiFi standards, routing protocols, DNS, RADIUS, 802.1x).
• Solid knowledge of Linux.
• Strong network troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule with other members of the team, including weekends, supporting a multi-vendor network including both wired and wireless connectivity for Enterprise Network.
• Identify, define, and update operational requirements to adopt new technology into Operations in collaboration with Engineering, Architecture, and Developers.
• Identify network issues proactively, and determine and recommend appropriate solutions in partnership with Engineering.
• Create, maintain, and review Operational practices across teams.
• Drive efficiencies through automation.
