UOP LLC, a wholly-owned $3.0B subsidiary of Honeywell International, Inc., designs, licenses and services process technology for the petroleum refining, gas processing and petrochemical industries worldwide. UOP also develops and manufactures catalysts, molecular sieves, adsorbents, specialty materials and performance equipment.

The person in this role will have responsibility as the IT Business Analyst located in India. This position will assist the IT Business Partners in supporting SAP enhancements, configuration and analytics across the UOP business.

Responsibilities:

• Work with IT Business Partners to support their engagement with the business teams
• Act as SMT for SAP Rapid delivery Enhancement and related interfaces
• Understanding of various SAP modules
• Analyzing various business operations and needs
• Possessing knowledge of software testing procedures
• Translating business solutions into systems programs
• Writing functional specifications and preparing training materials
• Participate in key functional team meetings and act as a point of contact for the planning of IT related projects and services as required
• Document key work processes with direction from IT Business Partners and provide recommendation on process improvements
• Develop new and innovative methods of using IT and Software to meet current and future business needs to help drive the digitization of UOP
• Participate in the annual UOP IT strategic planning activities (STRAP)
• Ensure appropriate Change Management, Six Sigma tools, ITIL and IT PMO processes are utilized for IT projects and provide feedback for continuous improvement to the process
• Drive IT effectiveness through supporting Customer Satisfaction initiatives and representing the “Voice of the Customer”

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years IT related experience in a large scale manufacturing organization
• Minimum of 3 years broad technical IT experience in analysis and problem resolution
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a technical Business field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Possess the ability to be innovative in using IT as an enabler for the business
• Understanding of Analytics and Software Development concepts
• Experience in working both independently and in a teaming environment
• Experience communicating and interacting effectively at all layers of a large organization
• Strong business acumen to effectively work with business leaders to understand and solve business problems with IT
• Customer focused, self-motivated, results and action oriented
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others
• Strong presentation, verbal and written skills

YOU MUST HAVE

Minimum of 6 years IT related experience in a large scale manufacturing organization

• Minimum of 3 years broad technical IT experience in analysis and problem resolution
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a technical Business field
