We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior System Administrator
In this role, you will:
Installation, Upgradation, Migration/Patching of Websphere MQ and ITM
Build and setup the WebSphere MQ and ITM environments as per application requirements and to follow the naming/design standards.
MQ flow designing and configuration: MQ clustering, Triggering, Client- Server set-up, Security etc
Create and set-up MQ Disaster recovery procedure and participate in Disaster Recovery Test exercises.
Implement and manage SSL Security – Renewal, creation, installation of SSL certificate.
Familiar with ITM core components like TEMS , TEPS, ITCAM etc. Understanding of MQ monitoring and configuration, Situation, Alerting and View set-up.
Trouble shooting of MQ issues related to distributed queuing, MQ Authorities, Cluster, SSL etc. Resolving connectivity issues by coordinating end to end testing with applications.
Perform clean and graceful demise of MQ without impacting any other live Infrastructure components and Services.
Ensuring deliverables as per standards and quality in agreed schedule, review & documentation of processes, tasks as applicable. Follow the best practices & ensure strict adherence to guidelines.
Develop automation solution using Ansible, Puppet, Shell scripting etc for MQ/ITM administration and Support activities
Provide timely reports
Interact with application teams and other infrastructure teams
Identify operational risks and contribute to mitigate the same.
Understand objectives/expectations and work collaboratively to achieve organizational goals.
Weekend support and after business hours’ support may be required from time to time.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Good Administrative Knowledge with practical hands-on of Middleware Messaging products on Linux. Should have understanding of Distributed queuing, MQ clustering, MQ authorities troubleshooting capability for the common MQ errors, knowledge of MQ on SSL, and the backup and recovery procedures of the MQ objects/messages.
Good Knowledge of Linux operating systems and commands, basic knowledge on networking principles. Some exposure to Mainframes/ISeries is desirable but not mandatory.
Understanding of Business continuity, availability and disaster recovery.
Good to have Ansible, Puppet, Shell scripting experience but not mandatory.
Ability to work independently, take responsibility and be a self-learner

Ability to work within international environment, and across cultures
Ability to work under time and stress pressure
Ability to continuously provide high quality of service and to ensure compliance of internal policies
