In this role, you will:
Monitor Testing/Production environment and applications and provide level 1/2 support to ensure high performance and availability.
Knowledge of Incident management, problem management, root cause analysis, resolution and reporting.
Experience working on Mainframe technology, working experience on Cobol/JCL/CA7 is mandatory.
Required to review the work and resolving audit issues
Role requires capacity planning & batch benchmarking
Identify system bottlenecks and opportunities to process improvements. Works to align best practices across production support team.
Experience on JIRA, Confluence, Devops Tools would be added advantage.
Hands-on work to manage the BAU and Adhoc requests to recover services from Outage at the earliest, avoid recurrence of same Incident and ensure the production services health.
Conduct in-depth root cause analysis of the incident and ensure fixes and procedures are put in place to avoid consistent re-occurrence of the issue.
Experience and working knowledge on Distributed technologies will be added advantage.
Work in an agile environment that requires reacting to changes within 3 week sprints
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to provide production support on weekends on rotation basis, also should be willing to support in morning and second shift.
