Job Summary:
As a Senior Business Development Manager/ Lead Business Developer with at least 7 years of experience, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and establishing strategic partnerships. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and pursue new business opportunities, foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and develop effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in business development, possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, and be highly motivated to meet and exceed targets.
Responsibilities:
Research and identify potential business opportunities, market trends, and competitive landscapes to develop a robust sales pipeline.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers to generate leads and expand business opportunities.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets.
Lead the end-to-end sales process, including prospecting, qualifying leads, delivering presentations, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and customer needs to proactively identify business development opportunities.
Prepare and present sales proposals, business cases, and reports to senior management, outlining market analysis, sales performance, and growth strategies.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking events to represent the company and build relationships with potential clients and partners.
Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and updates to the management team, highlighting key metrics and achievements.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Deep understanding of the [industry/sector] and familiarity with the competitive landscape.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
Strong negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
Exceptional problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
