Your Role and Responsibilities

Modelling and database design like tables and index management for standard tables, MDC and ITC tables.

Writing and tuning queries for optimal performance.

Troubleshooting SQL performance.

Troubleshooting index to data inconsistencies to ensure indexes are accurate

Manages DB2 objects tables, indexes, views, triggers, cursors, constraints changes to support application design and development efforts.

Developing code such as S

QL statements, Routines ( stored procedures and user-defined functions) to work and interact with Db2 databases

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

QL statements, Routines ( stored procedures and user-defined functions) to work and interact with Db2 databases

To aid in the database design, programming and building of applications that access and manage data.

Supports Application Group Change Management migration of DB2 code, STP’s, security for production migrations.

Supports Custom Archive purge procedures and jobs, Purge strategies as required

Assist with SQL development with the Application group as required.

Write DB2 Stored procedures, Functions, Routines, Views, Packages.

support and maintain data loads from test to production environments.
