Job Description:As an IT Sales Executive, your primary responsibility is to drive sales and generate revenue by selling IT products, solutions, and services to clients. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers, understanding their IT needs, and proposing suitable solutions that align with their business objectives. Your role will involve a combination of sales prospecting, consultative selling, and account management.
Responsibilities:
:Identify and engage prospective clients
: Conduct market research to identify potential customers and create a target list. Proactively reach out to prospects through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, and networking events.
Consultative selling:
Understand the clients’ business requirements, challenges, and goals. Conduct in-depth discussions to identify their IT needs and pain points. Propose tailored solutions that address their specific needs, emphasizing the value and benefits of the products or services.
Relationship building and account management: Build strong relationships with clients, maintaining regular contact to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling. Provide ongoing support, resolve issues, and act as a trusted advisor for IT-related matters.
Sales pipeline management: Manage the sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals. Track and follow up on leads, update CRM systems, and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the sales manager.
Collaboration with internal teams: Collaborate with technical teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition from sales to implementation. Provide feedback on market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities to improve product offerings and strategies.
Industry knowledge and self-development: Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and industry developments in the IT sector. Continuously enhance your knowledge of the company’s products and services to effectively communicate their value proposition to clients.
Requirements:Experience: Previous experience in IT sales, preferably in selling software, hardware, or IT services. Familiarity with the IT industry, its products, and solutions is essential.
Sales skills: Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets. Ability to build rapport, identify customer needs, and present solutions effectively.
Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate technical concepts in a clear and concise manner. Active listening skills to understand customer requirements and address their concerns.
Relationship building: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships. Customer-centric approach with a focus on delivering exceptional service and value.
Self-motivated: Results-oriented with a proactive and self-driven attitude. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Technical knowledge: Basic understanding of IT systems, software, and services. Ability to grasp technical concepts and translate them into customer benefits.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but not always mandatory.

Salary: ₹10,627.56 – ₹450,000.00 per month
