Job Description

• UST is looking for IT System Administrator who can handle following responsibilities As a System Administrator, you will build and service reliable IT infrastructure, developing, implementing, and supporting various initiatives in the area of systems administration and DevOps.
• Because of the very wide breadth of systems that will be configured, supported and maintained, the ideal candidate must have a wide knowledge base including, Linux Servers, Windows Servers, Azure, Amazon Web Services, General Networking and ability to support custom applications.

Basic Qualifications

– Strong knowledge of Linux operating system including scripting and general system administration –

• Working knowledge of Windows Server Operating systems
• Working knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD including group policy creation and management. – Familiarization with common MDM tools(Intune, Addigy, AirWatch, etc).
• Tier 3 knowledge of Windows desktop and Mac OS.
• Strong knowledge of networking and networking protocols
• Strong knowledge of virtual environments
• ESXi, HyperV, Azure
• Working knowledge of DevOps automation tools
• PowerAutomate, PowerBI, Sharepoint, PowerApps
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes a plus
• Ability to manage Azure and AWS automation technologies a plus
• Ability to solve problems quickly and automate processes
• Ability to quickly find solutions to unfamiliar problems (research skills)
• Ability to follow change controls and security procedures
• On-prem to cloud migration experience
• Strong knowledge of Windows PowerShell
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills
• Ability to self manage and adhere to SLAs Preferred Qualifications – Professional certifications preferred

Exp – 5-10 years IT experience, 2-4 years in sysadmin or systems engineering role
