Responsabilties

• Receive and process alerts from the PRTG console and establish an initial diagnosis (monitoring)
• Install, configure, maintain and upgrade all IT infrastructure including network, servers and storage
• Manage backup solutions
• Identify and study technical innovations in the server and workstation virtualization market
• Provide 3rd level phone support
• Participate in various IT projects
• Participate in the company’s documentation effort (wiki, blog) produce the reports necessary for customer needs
• Transfer knowledge to level 1 and 2 technicians

Requirements:

• Get to know the PRTG product (Monitoring system)
• Have good knowledge of Microsoft environments
• Have good knowledge of Microsoft network environments (Active Directory)
• Have good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and Microsoft Exchange messaging systems
• Have good knowledge of the network and network equipment (Cisco switches and routers, computer cabling, TCP/IP protocols)
• Have good knowledge of Citrix XenApp/Xendesktop and VMware vSphere virtualization products (asset)
• Hold a recognized certification in Microsoft, Citrix or VMware (an asset)
• Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar position

Work conditions

• Full time and weekends (rotated shift)
• Work schedule (Quebec time): 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
• You will be considered a freelancer
• Immigration is possible after 2 years of full time work remotely from India

Salary: ₹2,088,840.00 – ₹3,580,870.00 per year
