Job Title: IT HR Analyst

Overview:

As an IT HR Analyst, your role revolves around supporting the intersection of Information Technology (IT) and Human Resources (HR) functions within the organization. You will play a crucial role in managing HR systems, providing technical expertise, and collaborating with HR stakeholders to optimize IT solutions that align with HR processes. This position requires a blend of HR domain knowledge, IT proficiency, and excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technology and HR requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Systems Management:

Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of HR-related systems and applications, such as HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems), applicant tracking systems, talent management systems, etc.

Ensure the effective functionality, data accuracy, and security of HR systems, performing regular updates, configurations, and troubleshooting as needed.

Business Process Analysis and Improvement:

Collaborate with HR teams to understand their requirements, analyze HR processes, and identify opportunities for process improvement or automation through IT solutions.

Conduct thorough business process mapping, documentation, and analysis to recommend and implement IT-based solutions that enhance HR operational efficiency.

System Implementation and Support:

Lead or assist in the implementation, configuration, and integration of HR-related IT systems, ensuring alignment with business needs and requirements.

Provide end-user training, support, and documentation for HR systems, addressing queries, issues, and guiding users on system functionalities.

Data Analytics and Reporting:

Develop and generate HR-related reports, dashboards, and analytics using IT tools and data to derive insights into HR metrics, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Compliance and Security:

Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal policies related to HR data management within IT systems.

Collaborate with IT security teams to implement and maintain appropriate controls and measures for securing HR systems and data.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are advantageous.

Proven experience (min 5 years) in managing HR systems or working in a role that involves the intersection of IT and HR functions.

Working experience on SAP/ ORACLE/ PeopleStrong/ Ramco/ Darwin box or any other ERP HR

Strong understanding of HR processes and practices, coupled with proficiency in IT systems, databases, and software applications related to HR.

Proficiency in system administration, configuration, and troubleshooting of HR-related IT applications.

Analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills to collaborate across HR and IT departments.

Ability to adapt to new technologies, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively in a dynamic environment.

Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and experience ensuring compliance within HR-related IT systems.
