Job Description
Liaise between the business and IT communities to align the demands and priorities between these two groups.
Collaborate with business units to identify and develop true business value opportunities, understand their priorities and influence the decision on priorities, road map and timing of initiatives/deliverables
Partner with the business unit through budget oversight, strategy and investment planning activities Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant project information to appropriate levels of the organization regarding business unit requests and projects and initiatives.
Accountable for execution of projects that require a high level of cross functional teamwork and are typically performed under time constraints. Responsible for project definition, resourcing, issue escalation, budget, risk management and delivery.
Listen, build rapport, and credibility as a strategic partner vertically and horizontally within/across the business unit, as well as with leadership and functional teams
Identify opportunities where technology can aid business growth
Build and maintain relationships with business partners and internal customers
Establishing and maintaining relationships with third parties/vendors.
Performs other duties as assigned
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor’s degree in a business or science discipline, Master’s degree a plus
5 years or more experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications required.
10 years or more IT leadership experience required.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Those necessary to perform the job competently)
Strong technical analysis skills for creating optimal solutions for the business Strong technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts in terms understandable to the business
Strong communications skills, verbal and written.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to draft and deliver executive level management presentations.
Skilled in collaboration and consensus building.
Must have strong teamwork skills and the ability to develop working relationships
