We are seeking an Security Business Analyst to join our IT team working with Micron’s Global Security Organization (GSO) department. You will be responsible for the delivery of IPP functions and supporting business processes to keep Micron workloads secure both on-prem and public clouds
Key Responsibilities:
You will work closely with multiple teams that make up IT, Information security and Technology to drive impactful change.
Develop control structures within environment to ensure the data projection, accuracy and quality of data through all upstream and downstream data channels.
Provide thought leadership and participate with projects that involve any of the upstream or downstream data flows and processes.
Ensure controls are in place over applications to ensure the data integrity by performing data integrity gap analysis.
Coordinate the resolution of data integrity gaps by working with the business owners and IT.
Work with business partners to gather and understand functional requirements, develop complex queries and provide reports
Refine DAC process
Support incident response team with security event investigation on as-needed basis
Daily/weekly/monthly/ad-hoc reports on data, access related activities, etc.
Data Classification rule creation, tuning and maintenance
Work with IPP and CoP teams to configure content-based scans on filers and SharePoint environment
Produce executive and leadership level status reports
Actively analyzes, meets with and develops use cases / user stories for business, security and compliance needs.
Supports process to regularly review and maintain backlog for technical feasibility, reusability, essential business need, supportability and priority.
Capable of working with development teams locally and globally.
Participating in the change management process.
Daily administrative tasks, reporting, and communication with the relevant departments in the organization.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams for end-to-end testing and solve issues, proactively identify new opportunities, and drive initiatives through to completion
Skills and Competencies :
Experience in Supporting sDAC – Structured Data Access Control
Working experience in Databases
Experience working with structured data classification is a plus
Functional understanding of IPP, IAM capabilities, intersection with other cyber security domains, products, vendors and industry practices.
Knowledge in general security concepts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge in Agile methodology and [Jira / Azure DevOps / other Agile management tool], including feature, epic and story development, backlog grooming.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to see solutions to their conclusion
Ability to be self-directed and a fast learner and flexible to support new technologies and legacy applications.
Ability to react to high-pressure dynamic environments
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field of study
Minimum 5+ year experience working as a Security Business Analyst.
