Job Description for Manager Sales and Marketing: GIS
Our solution provides location-based analytics for businesses, government, NGO, and the everyday citizen. Our software is vital to many organizations around the world. It assists in everything from last mile delivery and census to emergency services and simply finding a location.
Our patented method is hierarchical, strictly numerical, customizable, and can be scaled to address not only buildings and dwelling units, but anything that is on the ground. Each address is assigned a unique AimLocate code and stored in a secure database.
Level of Advertised Position:
Full Time, Mid to Senior Level reporting into Head-Sales
Work Experience:
· 4 to 6+ years of experience with a minimum of 2 years in Enterprise Sales and Marketing
· A minimum of 2 years GIS/Location Intelligence Engineering/Pre-Sales Experience
· Must have experience in Vendor management especially for government clients
· Must have experience of RFP responses and Pre-Sales Deployment and POC
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Confident personality to be able to work with heads of departments and at CXO level.
· Experienced Project Management experience is a plus.
Educational Background:
MBA from a Reputed Institute
Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/GIS/Remote Sensing
Job Responsibilities:
· Managing the Sales Lifecycle of the product including generating lead, follow up of the lead, Technical Presentation, Product Demo, Financial Proposal, etc.
· Lead Generation through Cold Calling, Sales Org Client Leads and through various means like RFPs, Tenders, etc.
· Marketing Campaign through Social Media Posts on leading portals, participating in conferences and seminars at national forums and global platforms
· Generating Marketing Collateral as presentations and Flyers for Client Engagement
· Building relationships and partnerships with other key players such as vendors, advertising agencies, and creative artists if needed
· Conducts and/or participates in sales trainings sales, exhibit, and other presentations as required
Travel Requirement:
This role includes Domestic and International Travels
Skills:
Sales and Marketing
Knowledge of QGIS, ESRI Products, Cloud Services
Knowledge of SaaS Mapping and Addressing Platforms like MapMyIndia, What3Word, Google Maps, Mapbox and similar products
