The IT Project Manager provides leadership for the deployment of PowerSchool IT’s systems, hardware, server, security and software projects. This role has the overall responsibility to keep project deployment plans on track, check off key milestones and collaborate with the IT and Non IT end users. They will handle the initiating and planning for delivering and supporting the implementation of multiple projects, with subprojects of varying scope and size. This position is involved with communications between internal user base and PowerSchool IT resources, scheduling of meetings/resources, escalating risks, monitoring, and controlling while ensuring high quality and high customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Identify all key stakeholders
Identify and create project schedule
Develops a strategy to work with all stakeholders
Coordinate internal and external project stakeholders
Enforces personal accountability
Monitor key milestone deliverables
Monitor the project in all aspects (scope, time, costs, risks, quality, etc.)
Provide stakeholders with executive level project updates
When required, deliver reviews with sponsors
Alert leadership to all project risks
Manage multiple projects
Help transcribe notes and deliverables from meetings of major projects supported by other Project Managers

Qualifications include:
2+ years prior experience in Project Management
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite with an intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
Have problem solving and reasoning skills
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
Detailed oriented
Must exhibit professionalism, a positive attitude and enjoy working with clients and various internal teams
PMP or CAPM certification required
