Job Title: Network Engineer2 -Voice infra
Roles & Responsibilities:
Take ownership of projects and service requests, liaising with internal PM team, and other team members
Must be able to plan, perform requirements gathering, specification, design, implementation, and solution turnover to the support teams
Participate in an on-call rotation schedule responding to IT infrastructure events after hours
Stay current with technology trends and market demand to recommend, modify and implement appropriate modifications
Understand the following based on specialty; IP Telephony, routing, switching, gateways, site surveys, video endpoints, video infrastructure, QOS, Core Unified Communications, Presence and/or customer contact applications
Help lead and promote a well-organized team environment based on the following values: Compassion, Dignity, Justice, Excellence, Integrity, business comprehension and dependability
Technology: (Knowledge/Skills)
General Telecom background with programming skills on Cisco and Avaya phone systems
Knowledge of call routing, trunking, call centres and voicemail
Good understanding of circuits (SIP, PRI, T1, PBE, etc…)
Good understanding of call flow programming
Contact Center experience. Genesys Cloud experience are preferred
Experience in cisco voice and collaboration.
Strong knowledge on BGP4, OSPF, EIGRP and Ethernet Switching
Python Scripting skills and automation knowledge.
Cloud knowledge in Azure or AWS
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Industry certifications: CCNP Voice (preferred not mandatory)
Experience: 4-7 Yrs.
