R1 is seeking for an IT Desktop Engineer with strong cloud experience using Microsoft Intune for creating packages and deploying images. Must have experience working with Azure Active Directory, PowerShell, Intune, and Autopilot. Must be proficient provisioning and testing new devices. The right person must be proactive, take initiative, communicate, and work independently. Some responsibilities include creating, maintaining, and deploying images through Intune; creating/maintain and deploy packages and applications via Intune; running vulnerability testing, work with Power BI for reporting. Must have experience with Intune, Autopilot, Azure AD, PowerShell, and MS Power BI. Must know how to configure Intune and troubleshoot the software if there’s any type of issue. They need to trouble shoot when packages aren’t being deployed correctly.
Responsibilities:
Configure and maintain SCCM environments
Configure & Maintain Intune MDM environment
Test and evaluate software updates and customization’s
Understand/Troubleshoot Azure AD
Create conditional access policies
Develop standard installation procedures and packages to automate delivery of software
Develop and provide documentation and training for imaging and installation.
Provide Microsoft Patch Management for desktop and servers
Assist with Active Directory support and design
Provide 3rd level support for Desktop techs, and other IT Specialists.
Technology/process evaluation, recommendation, and implementation
GPO & Custom Windows script creation
Provide training and mentoring to junior staff
Participate in 24/7 on call rotation
Required Qualifications:
Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), OS Deployment Pack (MDT Preferred), Patch Management and WSUS
Device management – Mobile Device (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM) experience – Intune and JAMF preferred
Experience with design, implementation, and support Office 365 modern workplace and applications: Azure AD, Exchange Online, OneDrive, MS Teams, SharePoint Online, etc.
Experience with O365 advanced security and compliance tools
Expert level administration and troubleshooting of Windows OS’s including Server OS
Azure Conditional Access policies
Azure Application Registration
Active Directory security and Group Policy Objects
Networking fundamentals
Interpreting data from Windows Performance Monitor and Microsoft Network Monitor
VBScript
PowerShell scripting – PowerShell App Deploy Toolkit experience preferred
Adhering to Change Management process
Strong self-starter with a proven track record of accomplishment
Documentation of procedures and environment
Excellent troubleshooting and resolution skills
Excellent Interpersonal and Customer Service skills
Desired Qualifications:
Education: 4 year college program certificate, or equivalent work experience
Experience: 5 years’ experience in large corporation.
