Job Description:
Responsibilities:
1. Technical Support & MIS:
a. Perform internet connectivity and speed checks.
b. Monitor server CPU and memory usage, capture network usage, check file
systems space, update antivirus software, and track WFH user login activity.
c. Verify the completion of the previous day’s scheduled data backup.
d. Analyze firewall logs and identify potential threats.
e. Address and resolve issues related to office users’ systems and provide
technical support
f. Troubleshoot and resolve cloud connectivity issues for both remote and in-
office users.
g. Handle access rights issues for various systems and applications.
h. Manage requirements for old data backups.
i. Resolve system issues reported by WFH users.
j. Address concerns raised by branch office users.
k. Maintain an organized IT assets file.
l. Track and maintain stock levels of frequently required IT items.
m. Prepare and maintain MIS reports related to cloud connectivity usage.
n. Prepare and maintain MIS reports related to WFH user activities.
2. Implement Best Practices:
a. Research and implement best practices in the help desk and IT support
areas.
b. Ensure that established IT policies and procedures are followed consistently.
3. Training: Conduct regular training sessions on IT policies and procedures to create awareness and promote effective implementation.
4. Review IT Purchases:
a. Before purchasing any IT assets, compare prices from at least three
suppliers and share the price details with the Director for final approval.
b. Ensure that IT assets are purchased at the most competitive prices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 2 Years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably as an IT
Assistant Manager or in a supervisory capacity.
In-depth knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, server administration, firewall configuration, IT infrastructure, networking, and operating systems.
Familiarity with IT policies, best practices, and technical support methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSA) are a plus.
