About the Role:
The Customer Data Platform with specific focus on the the Salesforce Data Platform (SDP) and CRM Analytics (CRMA) product is experiencing huge growth in the world of Customer Data! The Olympus team is the premier SDP/CRMA team in Salesforce and represents its center of excellence. Olympus supports a wide variety of our trailblazer community such as Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, Customers, and Partners in tackling those tasks which are exceptionally challenging, providing thought leadership on SDP/CRMA application and use, as well as evangelization and trailblazer enablement. Olympus exists under the CDP product management organization and has a direct connection to the development of the product while still being engaged in pre-sales support and post-sales advisory roles.

Olympus is looking for an outstanding Solution Architect to join us and deliver programs that inspire and empower our customer data analytics trailblazer community.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the Olympus solution architect team, ensure success with many of our largest customers in building and migrating applications, software, and services on the SDP/CRMA platform.
Work closely with product management and engineering teams as a voice of the Customer to improve SDP/CRMA and ensure high-quality solutions.
Conduct one-to-many training sessions educating customers of all sizes on both the technical aspects as well as the value proposition of SDP/CRMA
Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the internal Salesforce SDP/CRMA community
Author or otherwise contribute to SDP/CRMA customer-facing publications such as webinars, white papers, blogs and posts on the Trailblazer Success Community
Assist in brainstorming strategy for scaling our Academies & Expedition training programs using internal resources as well as SDP/CRMA Partners
Be capable to expand into similar responsibilities for Einstein Discovery (ED)
Position requires approximately 25-50% travel after internal Salesforce COVID-19 travel restrictions are lifted
Qualifications:
At least 8 years design/implementation/consulting experience with Data, Analytics, BI, Cloud applications.
5+ years experience in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking.
5+ years relevant experience in technology/software sales, cloud computing
Working knowledge of software development tools, life-cycle, processes, methodologies.
Track record of delivering technical content in form of webinars, videos, blogs, or other public-facing formats.
Technical degree (Engineering, Computer Science or Math) desired but could be substituted by a proven high performer with relevant technical experience
Additional Beneficial Skills:
Experience with query languages like SAQL, SOQL, SQL, Apache Pig,Hive or similar technologies.
Experience with data modeling and data technologies such as Spark, Parquet, Hive, Hadoop, NoSQL DBs, RDBMs, and ETL tools.
Experience with programing languages like Python, Java, Spark and javascript
Experience taking day-to-day manual processes and automating them with scripting.
Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries.
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
Solid presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
Solid experience working with a multicultural team spanning many timezones.
