Salesforce.com is looking to hire an IT Auditor to support the transformation of our SOX IT program and support the future growth and expansion of the business. Transformation includes a focus on the maturity of the program, increased efficiency, and streamlining and standardizing of processes. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about SOX IT and wants to support the program as it moves into the next stage of maturity. The individual must have SOX IT experience working with a publicly-traded company and there is a preference for someone who has experience working on both the IT and business/financial audit processes. The resource must also be meticulous and able to technically evaluate the maturity of our control environment. The resource must be able to think strategically regarding the vision and direction of the company as it relates to compliance and communicate optimally with executives. Out-of-the-box thinking and challenging the status quo are key traits for this position.

The team’s goal is to support all aspects of the Company’s operations while providing an outstanding compliance and process management experience. The IT Auditor must be comfortable working in a very fast-paced and constantly evolving environment.

The Internal Audit-SOX team is looking for relevant work experience (compliance, information technology, business process), proper skills, and an attitude that positively contributes to that of our department and team. This resource will report to an Internal Audit-SOX Manager.

Role Responsibilities:

• Support the implementation of the strategic vision (maturity, efficiency, streamlined processes) for SOX IT by encouraging operational processes that are aligned to the company’s focus on trust.
• Execute and support the SOX IT program. Perform controls testing, document results, and provide detailed updates to the Internal Audit-SOX Manager, Internal Audit management, Compliance management, and other internal partners.
• Coordinate work assignments with process/control owners and external auditors.
• Proactively identify gaps or issues in existing processes and work to develop solutions.
• Communicate potential control gaps to the Internal Audit-SOX Manager and coordinate multi-functional team meetings to remediate and close the gaps.
• Assist with remediation of control deficiencies identified during the audit process.
• Assist with the education and training of process/control owners, so they better understand the technology controls framework and their responsibilities.
• Provide mentorship to contractors and other junior members of the team as needed demonstrating leadership capabilities
• Assess potential business changes for impact to IT and compliance objectives.
• Conduct reporting on the status of the program including appropriate reports and metrics that highlight key results of the team’s work and related risks to senior management.
• Support continuous improvement and scale in the team’s processes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 1-2 years meaningful experience
• Undergraduate degree in Accounting Information Systems, Accounting, Business Administration (MIS focus), Computer Science, or a related subject area
• Solid understanding of control frameworks used in SOX IT i.e., COSO, COBIT, and how this applies to the achievement of SOX IT objectives
• IT Audit and Information Security experience with 2-3 years combined Compliance, risk, security, and technology experience with supporting security certifications like CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CISM (Big 4 / Public Accounting background preferred).
• Prior experience in a technology/cloud company environment is preferred.
• Good communication skills; ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the Company.
• Ability to work efficiently with minimal oversight/direction as well as part of multiple project teams.
• Proactively works with and can influence a wide variety of individuals like developers, engineers, business process owners, and executives.
• Solutions-oriented and comfortable in a fast-paced environment with opposing priorities.
• Analytical problem solver with strong organizational skills; attention to detail is a must.
• Flexibility in daily hours (i.e., willingness to work longer hours during peak periods in audit cycles).
• Possess a “get it done” mentality (i.e., pick up the phone, stop by a desk, follow-up multiple times)
