As a manager in our IT team located in Hyderabad, India, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the future of Schrödinger’s global IT strategy and the APAC/EMEA region in particular.
In partnership with the Director of Information Technology, you will manage and enhance Schrödinger’s operations policies, procedures, and support a global operations function.
We are looking to hire someone with a managerial background and a broad technical competency who understands how to effectively lead and collaborate with a global team.

What you’ll do:
Work with the IT Director to establish and execute team goals
Communicate with the Director and work with the operations team to prioritize and plan projects
Identify and execute innovations and improvements
Identify opportunities for training and skill advancement of team members
What you should have:
5+ years of experience managing a technical team
Creative, forward-thinking energy
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Experience managing an IT Operations function with escalation procedures highly desired
Experience with general budget and asset management preferred
Experience with FreshService, Jira, Confluence, and similar software desired
