JOB TITLE: HR Manager IT
Where you fit
The main objective of the HR Function is to deliver value to Shell and its constituent Businesses and Functions by developing and executing people strategies in direct support of the Group Strategy.
What’s the role?
As a HR Manager you will be responsible for:
HR contact for operating environments/asset-based organisations; translates globally set strategy and operationalizes locally.
Executes delivery of business specific people agendas within a local context, including alignment with local regulations, ER/IR strategies, individual case management, and compliance requirements.
Accountable for value creation/protection; where there is risk/exposure exists locally.
Primary HR point of contact for the business, integrating the full HR capability.
Accountable for translating business strategy to people strategy, bringing in external perspectives and Functional knowledge, and delivering the people agenda of the business/Function in a competitive manner.
Business and Thought Leader who leverages Organizational capability to enable business strategy, which includes strategic, transactional and compliance deliverables.
Builds and improves Organizational capability with focused support from OD & Learning, Recruitment & Talent, to resource the business, enable organizational performance, drive team performance improvements and coach individual leaders on their personal effectiveness regarding engagement, team leadership and performance.
Your further accountabilities are:
Integrated capability building (clear interfaces with OD & Learning and Talent)
Design the integrated capability plan and people agenda for a business, function or asset
Ensure that core capabilities are built.
Assure Talent health of the organization (business specific), as input to org capability diagnostic and with the aim of building business capability.
Provide expertise/coaching for leadership to enhance/develop capability of senior leaders regarding engagement, team leadership and performance.

Business Agenda and/or associated People Agenda presents high complexity most of the time to build and improve organizational capability and to translate business strategy to people strategy (e.g., not a stable environment, but one which has significant growth and/or divestment content which will result in a significantly different site / asset /market going forward).
