Where you fit in:
The End User Computing team is a part of the End User Productivity, Service and Operations Management team (SOM). We are operationally accountable for all client platforms, including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and virtual desktops. This includes the maintenance and deployment of enterprise software, publishing of mobile applications and the hosting of virtual applications. Over 100K people across Shell daily rely on our services to enable their work. In this role, you will manage the operation of the MacBook environment across Shell (currently ~2000 assets deployed, expected to double in the next year)
What’s the role?
Responsible for the stability and security of the corporate MacBook environment.
Drive collaboration within the natural team: operations, portfolio, project delivery, architects, and suppliers.
Oversee delivery of supplier-provided managed services, drive performance and achievement of value.
Assist in establishing a more robust enterprise capability and knowledge base for MacBook support and administration.
Cross-train and provide support to other services within the larger End User Computing team. (e.g., Windows, iOS, Android, Citrix)
What we need from you
Strong Expertise with MacOS in a corporate environment (iOS, iPadOS Desired) and understanding of network, system, and application security
Knowledge of using Workspace One UEM or JAMF, and have completed multiple, moderately complex technical tasks.
Experience with automated software deployment to user workstations via MDM solution.
Troubleshooting capabilities commensurate with 2 and tier 3 support for all related technical questions for the Mac OS platform
Strong familiarity with ITIL Processes and escalation procedures and inherently curious with strong problem-solving capabilities
Ability to operate in a global, virtual cross-cultural organization, working across different time zones and building Strong relationship & stakeholder management skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to drive collaborative efforts, influence others, and work through others to deliver the desired results with Confidence and ability to work effectively in periods of high pressure
Good to have:
Superior ability to collaborate across IT functions; resilient and comfortable managing challenges and resistance.
Experience compliance and security audits and Awareness of security certificates and associated chain of trust
Beneficial to have experience with IT project management, coordination, or participation.
Knowledge of Office 365 and Edge Browser
Strong data analytics capabilities and related tools: Excel, Pivot Tables, PowerBI, Tableau
Experiencing using Aternity and/or other such monitoring tools, and ServiceNow
Awareness of Integration Solutions, and On-premise & Cloud Hosting and Business Analysis methods
