Job Responsibilities

• Procurement Resource shall be managing and Lead the team of IT Procurement
• Procurement strategy development: Develop and implement IT procurement strategies that align with the overall business strategy and objectives. This includes identifying and managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations
• Vendor selection and management: Select and manage vendors to ensure they meet the organization’s needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery. This includes conducting due diligence on potential vendors, negotiating contracts, and monitoring vendor performance
• Risk management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT procurement, including supplier risks, compliance risks, and operational risks
• Stakeholder management: Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including business units and senior management, to understand their needs and ensure procurement strategies align with business objectives.
• Budget Management: Budget compilation, presentation and tracking.
• Continuous improvement: Continuously review and improve procurement processes and policies to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the quality of goods and services.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Policy development and implementation: Develop and implement policies and procedures for IT procurement that comply with regulatory requirements and align with industry best practices
• Contract negotiation and management: Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions that align with the organization’s needs. Monitor contract compliance and manage supplier relationships to ensure ongoing value.
• Market research and analysis: Stay informed about market trends, emerging technologies, and industry developments to ensure that the organization remains competitive in terms of procurement practices.
• Compliance management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as GDPR and other data protection laws, as well as internal policies and procedures.
• Team management: Hire, train, and manage a team of procurement professionals to ensure that procurement activities are carried out effectively and efficiently.
• Communication and reporting: Communicate procurement activities and performance to senior management and other stakeholders through regular reports and presentations.
• Technology evaluation and selection: Evaluate and select appropriate procurement technology solutions that align with the organization’s needs and ensure maximum efficiency and cost savings.
• Ethical sourcing: Ensure that the organization’s procurement practices align with ethical standards and that suppliers adhere to the organization’s ethical sourcing policies.
