About the Job:
The Sr. Manager of Infrastructure Services-Run the Bank will collaborate with the Technology Command Center and the Infrastructure Engineering teams to drive resolution of incidents, implementation of change and release along with problem management and oversee operational processes. This role will also advise on product priorities and coach individuals for ongoing career development.
The ideal candidate :
Demonstrate understanding and experience managing on-premises and cloud operations
Expertise in one of the infrastructure technology domains: Servers, Databases, Virtualization, or Containers, Storage, Networks & Monitoring
Well-practiced troubleshooting methodology and RCA along with Problem Management expertise
Desire to support the team and drive results through the work of others
Ability to understand complex systems and communicate concepts across all audiences
Ability to develop and modify processes to improve outcomes or key metrics
Capable of influencing decisions at various levels of leadership
Experience automating tasks or leading the automation of repeatable work
Understand product licensing and budget forecasting
Focus on continuous improvement, capacity planning of workload and efficiency efforts
Automation efforts and exposure of the monitoring solutions and matrix
Bachelor’s degree preferred
ITIL Certification required
More than 15 years’ industry experience
At least 6 years as Technical Manager of managing directly or indirectly a span of 30+ Senior Engineering and Operations Engineers
Banking & Financial Domain candidate preferred
Once Here You Will:
Lead a team with future growth potential to develop processes, oversee operations, and report key Infrastructure metrics
Oversee the activities, knowledge, and metrics of the Tier 1/2/3 Operations and Engineering team
Develop and maintain relationships across the Technology teams, including Application and Infrastructure Service Delivery
Maintain awareness of the department budget, influence budget planning, and model the financial impact of decisions
Participate in the Incident Management and Problem Management processes, driving rapid remediation to active incidents and root cause analysis
Contribute to the strategy across all Infrastructure and Network platforms
Develop and communicate processes that increase availability by reducing MTTR and increasing MBTF metrics
Develop business cases for tools or initiatives
Facilitate technical conversations to arrive at succinct decisions and tasks
Leverage team and individual goals to measure performance and drive outcomes. Regularly report progress towards goals
Measure team performance with metrics
