Requisite Skills
Position Title : IT Manager (in Hotels)
Location – Jim Corbett, Uttarakhand
Working knowledge of Hotel software applications, hardware and interfaces
Familiarity with procurement of IT related hardware and software for hotel
Familiarity with Hotel guest, admin and CCTV data network systems
LAN and WAN management
E-mail management
Working knowledge of EPABX system, Video Conferencing system, etc
Basic knowledge of IM policy & Governance
Management of Guest IT needs, Internet support and direct interaction with resident Guests and for Banquet events, meetings and conferences
Working knowledge of management of application data backup, retrieval and best practices
Good knowledge of MS-Office, Window-7 and 10, Window-2012
Management of hotel FMS and 3rd party vendor teams for effective support to both internal and external customers
Management of IT calls and service requests for efficient closure
Active Directory, Mail configuration, Antivirus, File server support
Desktop/Laptop Management /Printer Management
Familiarity with management of IT related AMCs and SLAs
Functions
Regular interaction with users towards effective and timely closure of day to day issues pertaining to application software, hardware, communication & network
Effective management of guest related IT requests/ support
Effective data backup management
Effective user management
Effective vendor management
Effective inter-departmental coordination towards seamless IT delivery
Training of users for effective usage of IT systems
Rendering active and efficient assistance towards IT related initiatives and projects
Supporting the implementation of IT systems & procedures and audit compliance
Development of mechanisms and processes for minimal / no systems downtime/disruption
Candidate
PG Diploma in IT along with Graduation or BSc (Comp Science)
7-10 years of experience in Hotels IT support and services
Good communication skills and ability to effectively interface with both external and internal customers in high pressure environment.
Adequate exposure to hardware, software and networking systems preferably in hospitality domain.
Knowledge of industry IT standards, policies and procedures.
Working knowledge of MS-Office, Window-7 and 10, Window Server OS 2008 /2012, Lotus Notes
Knowledge of Antivirus systems like Symantec, centralized IT management systems like Altiris, IT service management tools, etc.
