The Supply Chain Transformation is expected to enable –

We are delivering the technology foundations needed on the journey for Digital Transformation. We have multiple applications in our digital factory portfolio covering DFOS(Unilever solution for line losses capturing and real time OEE/performance management), NGTW (driving waste agenda for Unilever), MDCS(Key for Benchmarking initiatives like Run to standard), SPC(Statistical process control), DMS(digital maintenance system), MCOF(Material Call off), BuildApp(Manufacturing console for factory operators) and many more. We are at different stages of maturity in our digital factory applications portfolio ranging from applications live in 200+ factories, having 2000+ users across the globe to the ones onboarded in 2-3 clusters. At this stage, we are looking at bringing in increased focus on resilient IT operations to act as the foundation to ensure zero disruption to our operations.

Key Accountabilities & Activities

We are looking at someone who can strengthen and run brilliant operations to ensure zero disruption to our factories across our portfolio of apps in Make space. Work with the factories and multiple stakeholders to Manage the end-to-end delivery through L1, L2, and L3 teams and ensure that the deployment processes are well followed. Ensure that the Service Providers deliver IT services (Application Support and Application Maintenance) in accordance with the agreed scope & service level agreement (SLA) for our portfolio. Key areas of work will include:

Strengthen & Manage L1,L2,L3 BAU teams across Digital factory & DMS applications

Measure, maintain & improve the bar on composite uptime for all our applications.

Work towards strengthening our ability to mitigate security risks and product vulnerabilities.

Maintain focus on continuous improvement using Prevent, Detect and Respond framework.

Work on measuring & strengthening our service against the needed baseline

Work on strengthening our monitoring capabilities through auto-detect and self-heal tools.

Meeting our budget targets and proactively deliver savings.

Manage relationships with multiple vendor partner teams

Stakeholder management: Ensure good communication, expectation setting & delivery

Essential

Experience in working with Agile and DevOps methodology

Experience in managing vendor partner teams and delivery.

Exposure to global delivery & operations in multi technology environment.

Experience in IT applications delivery or maintenance

Team Management and Leadership skills, Excellent written, verbal communication, interpersonal skills

Self-motivated: able to handle multiple workstreams, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

Strong stakeholder management to be able to work with Platform Directors, and global Stakeholders to ensure alignment within and outside Unilever & IT organizations

Desirable Skills

Experience with Industrial IoT products (or related areas)

Understanding of IT, Azure, Cloud technologies

Understanding of Supply Chain processes

Experience working on Application Maintenance, Service Delivery, and IT Platform Management
