Mandatory Skill : 5 to 7 years of Exp in VSphere Admin with Python Script, Unix / Linux / Windows

Required Skills/Experience

• Highly motivated, quality-conscious self-starter that requires little to no supervision
• Strong communication skills with an ability to relay incident details expeditiously, concisely, and accurately
• Minimum 5 years of hands on experience in managing vSphere, vSAN, NSX environment
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Unix/Linux/ Windows Operating system
• Must have knowledge on Networking and Storage.
• Experience in one of the following languages: Python, PowerShell, PowerCLI, Shell Script.
• Experience working with one of communication tools: Slack, Azendoo, Hipchat
• Experience working with any of the ticketing tools Jira, Client, Remedy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with internal or external notification tools: Statuspage.io, status.io
• Domain knowledge of systems management and ITIL is strongly desired.
• Good working knowledge of at least one public cloud such as AWS or GCP

Summary:

• The main function of a Systems Administrator is to be responsible for system administration of core systems as well as monitoring and repair of high performance computing systems.
• Ensures consistent and reliable operation including enterprise servers and network infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provides wide ranging system administration in a multi-platform environment
• Responsible for general systems administration tasks including system configuration management, OS installations, security updates, urgent system patching Writes and implements scripts to automate tasks
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot hardware components that are problematic
• Performs daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, network disruption awareness and predefined key processes
• Reviews system logs, application logs and security logs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
• Proven work experience as a system or network administrator.
