Managed Services Delivery Platform – MSDP – is used when Ericsson has been contracted to handle a customer’s network. It contains several solution areas comprising of different tools. MSDP tools serve end-to-end management of networks in multi- customer and multi-country environments, enabling efficient alarm monitoring, trouble shooting, fault restoration, work order distribution and reporting. WFM is critical tool in the portfolio for management of work requests.
The workforce management (WFM) system for the field operations which provides scheduling functionality to improve the efficiency of the field force. In the WFM system, work requests are used to hold information regarding the requested services as well as to keep track of the progress of work being done for the same in orders to meet the service requirements.
The Solution-development team is a dedicated team and is responsible for product development of the WFM for MSDP andhandlee E2E product ownership for one or more products under the portfolio. This includes all activities to drive continuous product improvements for the life cycle management of the system and new business requirements.

What you will do
Lead and be responsible for the development and delivery of the product requirements on the WFM systems.
Technical lead in design & implementation of the business requirements.
Solution design and implement solutions on work force management product as a solution architect
Preparation of technical solutions against business requirements, estimations and facilitate implementations.
Create acceptance documents.
Perform dimensioning analysis or implementation analysis.
Collect and document customer functional, features and delivery requirements, perform technical gap analysis.
Prepare and write solution and/or implementation descriptions.
Handle 3’rd Party Products to be used in the solution.
To adhere the project SLAs and customer commitments
Person will be-part of Solution -development team of WFM and will be Technical Responsible for Solutions.
Person would have complete responsibility to deliver starting from requirement gathering to reviews, testing and releasing the solution.
Will be the Talk to the Customer, the release Manager, Scrum Master and Product Area Manager.
Facilitate security standards to be adopted in solution design.
Drive risk management procedures for the programs.
Responsible for Solution Documentation for Implementers, Customer, Operations and Support
Provide technical training to the customer technical staff and internal teams.
Provide on-site support to customer during the testing and release phases to ensure a successful deployment.
Participate in Capacity and Performance enhancement of solutions.
Ensure solution delivery at highest delivery quality and agile ways adapting customer needs with very fast time to market of solutions.
You will bring
7-14 years of experience in the IT/Telecom industry
Extensive expertise in IFS FSM/PSO based solution & WFM architecture.
Experience in IFS suite of applications FSM & PSO
Experience with Oracle databases
Experience in developing rich Interactive Applications Using Angular
Good experience of IFS administration, business rules configuration, customer adaptations and Quality Assessment.
Software development life cycle (SDLC) exposure with technical leadership ability to drive team during Design, coding, testing and Integration phases, code review ability and internal design reviews.
Solid understanding of development of customizations for IFS platforms
Additional technical knowledge in IT architecture e.g., Network, Server, Security infrastructure, database systems and client/server environment (Added advantage)
Knowledge and understanding of Cloud based solutions for future solutions.
Solid understanding and experience of web services and Integrations.
Hands-on experience in Design, Development, Integration, Testing and User Acceptance testing.
Handle change requests and the consequences of such for the delivered offers and/or ordered deliveries from a solution point of view
Additional skills
Prior work experience, administration or certification on working with IFS systems or any other Field Services module like Click software
Exposure to work with International Customers, face-to-face dialog with Customers.
Strong service orientation and expertise in design and development.
Good understanding of Telecom Operations process viz eTOM, ITIL, ETL etc.
Excellent consultative, problem solving, research and analysis, team building, and leadership skills in fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Working in Agile based delivery models.
Experience working with Microsoft .NET C#, XML, XSL, web services, IIS 7.
Continuous Integration and deployment using Jenkins, Bitbucket, Ansible and related Devops tools.
