Assistant Manager – Technology Transfer

Job Purpose
Managing Technology transfer from Pilot Plant to Commercial Plant.
Roles & Responsibilities:
New Product Development: Demo trials at R&D & Pilot Plant, Basic data Generation, Material Balance. Technology transfer from R&D to Pilot Plant.
Technology transfer from Pilot Plant to Commercial Plant. Preparation for System for new production at Pilot Plant & Commercial Plant.
Commissioning of plant system for new Product & actual trial runs. Trouble shooting for new product.
Data generation & recording for new product. Product Costing.
Technical Services: Work as a link between the Planning group & Implementation group for better & effective Output.
Existing product trouble shooting & trials to achieve the desire Yield, Raw material. Consumption, Quality.
System development for Reducing Time cycle for Batch Operation.
Identification & Implementation of modifications with different Unit operations to reduce cost, Time cycle, Improving Environmental Systems.
Improving Plant Safety System.
Implementation of Various Systems with the help of consultants.
Project: Projects designing, detailing, planning, equipment/system design, indenting, erection & commissioning. Module implementation for Project management. Assist for Statutory compliances.
Develop relationships across departments to deliver complete solutions throughout a products lifecycle.
Reviewing concepts for commercial feasibility and making recommendations on capital as well as identifying potential project risks and create a path forward.
Serving as a liaison between R&D and manufacturing sites. Identifies opportunities for process standardization and improvements.
Managing change across departments through collaboration and communicating business case.
Partnering with Engineering and R&D to identify and evaluate emerging technologies and validation of new equipment installation.
