Indiahikes Looking for IT Coordinator at Bengaluru, Karnataka Full Time

Indiahikes is the largest trekking organisation in India. More than 10,000 people interact with our website every day. We are also the largest database of trekking information in India. Our website has been our biggest pillar, hosting all our content, database, and trekker interface for the past 13 years.

We have built our backend on Java and our website (the one you interact with) on React.jsand Prismic.

We’re looking for anIT Coordinatorto join us for our constantly growing IT needs.

As the lead coordinator for Indiahikes IT, you will understand and manage the build, release, deployment, and monitor of our web applications. You’ll work closely with our development teams to ensure the applications run efficiently.

You will help develop new features and capabilities.

Your responsibilities:
Work closely with the development team to understand and manage all the IT systems of Indiahikes.

Work closely with the development team to ensure the smooth deployment of code changes and new features.

Design and implement monitoring and logging systems to track application performance and identify issues.

Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with the development team to implement fixes.

Collaborate with leaders to ensure the security and scalability of our applications.

Keep up with emerging technologies and methodologies and recommend improvements to improve efficiency and scalability.

Document technical designs, processes, and procedures related to the digital infrastructure.

Requirements

We are looking at 2–3 years of experience in the IT sector. We want to groom someone young who can grow along with us.

You need a strong understanding of the architecture and technology behind various systems and applications.

Experience with Java and React

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

This is a full-time position in Bengaluru. You’ll work from the Indiahikes office. The salary range starts with 6.0 – 8.0 lakhs per annum.
