A. JOB PROFILE
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Vice President- IT shall be as follows:
i. The VP – IT will be the key resource person providing in-depth technical expertise to the Company and will be responsible for identifying and implementing new technologies and technology products.
ii. Responsible for preparation, aligning and enabling implementation of Technology Vision Document for the Company involving Technology architecture to meet its present and future needs and making institution technologically competitive in the market.
iii. Adopting and operationalising the IT related Master Guidelines issued by RBI and ensure compliance;
iv. Preparation and coordination of the IT Roadmap for the Company;
v. Responsible for development, management and coordination for IT Governance, IT Policy and SOPs, Information & Cyber Security, IT Operations, IS Audit, Disaster Management, Business Continuity Planning and IT Services Outsourcing and ensure compliance;
vi. To appraise the management about global developments and necessary action points in all areas of IT, including Cyber Security.
vii. Responsible for digitizing most of the operations of the Company wherever feasible and in the process, reduce the time and cost of operations by leveraging the digital shift.
viii. Identifying needs and ensuring ideal software solutions are developed in a timely manner to help increase operational efficiency and also leading edge products; guiding the Company on its Enterprise Architecture Journey.
ix. Define the priorities, objectives and targets that underpin what contributes to delivery of value to business aligned with best practices and standards.
x. Ensure efficiency in process/operations across the Bank.
xi. Ensuring the optimisation and management of IT networks in a manner that it delivers high efficiency with sufficient resilience and yet managing costs effectively.
xii. Ensure State-of-the Art IT Security, identify security threats, and formulate strategies and methods to mitigate the threats.
xiii. As part of Business Continuity Plan, lend support to the business operations and ensure that appropriate DR plans are in place and regularly tested for readiness for unforeseen and unexpected events, which can impact the business continuity.
xiv. Will have a pivotal role in supporting the business departments and meeting their IT needs in a time bound manner.
xv. To develop stress testing mechanism to mitigate risk arising out of cyber- attacks and responsible for taking corrective measures / prudent response in case of cyber-attacks.
xvi. Enhancing Training & capacity building at NABSAMRUDDHI with respect to IT.
xvii. Facilitate and Oversee IS Audit, System Audit and all IT related audit.
xviii. Setting up and monitoring the Database DR replication
xix. Stabilising operations of loan origination and management systems, business analytics, Customer Relationship Management Systems, HR systems, risk management systems, investments module, development and supporting of new products/applications, ensuring security of data, etc.;
xx. Coordination for maintenance of NABSAMRUDDHI’s website, and other online media;
xxi. Monitoring and maintaining Computer Systems and Networks;
xxii. IT Asset Management – Hardware inventory and Software licenses and AMCs
xxiii. Troubleshooting System and network problems, diagnosing & solving Hardware/Software issues;
xxiv. Coordination with DIT, NABARD for management of shared Resources provided by NABARD;
xxv. Any other matter assigned by the Management from time to time.
B. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
a. Educational Qualifications:
i. Graduate in any discipline with minimum 60% or equivalent in CGPA from any reputed institution; and
ii. Should be a post graduate with specialisation in Computer Engineering/ Computer Applications.
b. Experience:
i. Minimum of 15 years of experience preferably in reputed and relevant NBFCs/Financial Institutions/Banks/BFSI Software providers.
ii. Knowledge on Databases – Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase etc. and Operating systems such as Windows Server 2019, HP-UX etc.
iii. Experience in managing Integrations with 3rd party applications, during implementation and support phases.
iv. Having exposure to GRC Tools (Governance Risk and Compliance).
c. Age
i. Any eligible candidate who qualifies with respect to education and experience required for this role aged between 35 and of 45 years of age as of date of advertisement.
C. OTHER CRITERIA
i. Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English
D. PLACE OF POSTING
i. The place of posting for the present will be Mumbai;
ii. However, depending on the administrative requirement of NABSAMRUDDHI, the candidate may be placed anywhere in the country in future.
E. EMOLUMENTS AND SERVICE CONDITIONS
i. Pay Scale: Selected candidates will draw basic pay of INR 89,890/- per month in the scale of 89890-2500-2/94890-2730-2/100350 (5 years), applicable to Officers in Scale 5 and they will be eligible for Dearness Allowance, HRA, CCA, Special Allowance as per rules in force from time to time. At present, initial monthly gross emoluments are approximately INR. 1,50,000/- at the present rate of dearness allowance. Remuneration will be released after making statutory deductions that NABSAMRUDDHI may be required to make on behalf of the staff. There is a provision of annual increment as well as incentive subject to performance review.
ii. Initial appointment of a selected applicant will be on probation for a period of 02 years.
iii. Notice period during resignation, i.e., exit for employees under probation will be of 2 months and confirmed employees will be 3 months.
iv. The appointment shall be subject to review of performance on a half yearly basis. The Company may terminate the employment of service in case the performance is found to be unsatisfactory during the period of Probation, on the basis of a half yearly review.
v. The Company reserves the right to either terminate or suspend the services without any notice, if it is found or the Company has a reason to believe that the candidate has committed or were a part of any form of misconduct, fraud, negligence or any other act that is prejudicial to the interests of the Company including, but not limited to any act, omission, breach, defiance of instructions, violation of policies and practices of the Company etc. during the course of the employment for any reason.
F. OTHER FACILITIES
i. Leave shall be applicable as per the extant policy of the Company ;
ii. Employee Benefits and Allowances shall be paid as per the extant policy of the Company.
iii. Medical Insurance for Health coverage, shall be applicable as per the extant policy of the Company.
