Enterprise Applications team
In this role, you will be part of our Enterprise Applications team, responsible end to end for Nokia’s applications’ portfolio, used across all Business Groups and Functions. Our current mission is to simplify and modernize our application portfolio and to transform into a fast moving, product-oriented and customer-focused technology organization.
With in EA you will be part of Automation CoE which delivers Automation ensuring benefits to Nokia’s Business Groups and Functions via Intelligent Automation levers like RPA, Orchestration combined with intelligent algorithms, Data Processing (IDP – NLP), Intelligent Agents & Product specific automation (e.g. for SAP); Automated Data Migration.
The role owner will act as a key individual contributor and have an aptitude to learn new technologies and loves to push the boundaries in solving real problems.
What you will learn and contribute to
As Solution Architect you will be bringing in technical expertise to Automation COE team to provide secured, scalable solutions built on Microsoft Power platform. You would be the key member to ensure technical governance on solutions being built on Microsoft Power platform.
Roles & Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but may not be restricted to:
Evaluate business needs and propose suitable platform for Low Code development
Assess Low Code development opportunities and perform due diligence to arrive at an optimal solution considering technical feasibility, platform features needed, ROI, compliance requirements and build business cases collaborating with business SME.
Prove viability of the proposed solution through POC or prototypes if required
Collaborate with Nokia Service Now platform team to understand existing platform architecture, capabilities, platform usage guidelines and align on ways of working
Create best fit architecture for different project adhering to Security, Compliance, Integration guidelines by coordinating with relevant teams
Provide solutions designs for different project effectively utilizing different service now capabilities and produce relevant design documentation
Create best practices, standards, reusability guidelines for design and development activities
Ensures technical integrity, consistency and quality of the solution on every stage of its lifecycle
Provide guidance and technical leadership on projects solution design compliance with enterprise architecture
Ensuring design is extensible across multiple projects. Conducting technical design reviews; auditing projects to ensure best practices are followed.
Perform hands on development for specific solutions as and when needed
Assist development and support team in resolving technical/functional issues/clarifications
Keep eye on industry trends, new features on Service Now and evaluate possibilities to implement those based on needs
Key Skills:
10 to 12 years of experience in developing Service Now solutions.
Minimum 4-5 year of designing and implementing solutions and detailed understanding of the relevant key technologies
In depth understanding of Service Now Platform Architecture, data model, different functional modules, Workflow, Integration capabilities as well as security & compliance modules
Good knowhow on Service Now ITSM, CSM, Custom Portals, SPM,
Experience in designing & building complex apps utilizing App Engine along with Now Intelligence capabilities
Knowledge of architectural design patterns, performance tuning, database and functional designs
Experienced in building business rules, UI Policies, Client Scripts, UI Actions, ACLs, APIs, web services, Workflows, Business Rules, transform maps and scoped applications
Strong Experience in front ending client facing discussions and interfacing with Client Business and IT teams
Must have outstanding communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills. This includes making presentations, leading technical discussions
Education:
Bachelor/Master’s university degree in Engineering/Computer Science
Programming Skills:
Web development, including X-HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, jQuery or Angular
JavaScript, PHP, .NET, Java,
Database – SQL
Desirable:
‘Start up’ mindset, very ‘hands on’, ‘get things done’ attitude
Service Now Certifications – Developer/Architect is preferred
