About You:
Responsible for providing support for software, hardware, and network assistance. Relies on experience and judgment as well as pre-established procedure and instructions to identify, research and resolve technical problems. Documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution. Performs minor system administration functions, project planning, and security software implementation. This individual collaborates with any and all parties necessary to defend against information security incidents, as well as identifying, analyzing, communicating, and escalating these incidents when they do occur.
Core Responsibilities / Duties include:
Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
Organize and schedule OS and software upgrades/patches
Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
Work on security projects and efforts to ensure a secure environment
Participates in incident response, computer forensics, data preservation and investigations related to security events
Maintain incident records and resolution
Supports regular and special reporting and analysis, including reports of vulnerabilities, risks, control deficiencies, remediation strategies, and performance metrics.
Maintain Active Directory objects and hygiene
Managing technical documentation
Maintain inventory of all equipment, software, and software licenses
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in computer networks and systems maintenance
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows (Server and Desktop) and Apple MacOS
Basic understanding of cybersecurity practices
Well versed with Microsoft Active Directory
Proficient with Microsoft Office 365
Experience with InTune and JAMF
Attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong diagnostic and problem solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks
Soft Skill Requirements:
