Title: IT Infrastructure Delivery Lead
Description:
The candidate will report to the Director of Global Infrastructure Services, collaborate with Managers of other IT Infrastructure disciplines, interact with vendors and oversee the work of an MSP.
In this role, the candidate will be responsible for all Server and Storage platforms within McCormick including hardware, hypervisors, operating systems, storage & backup systems, Citrix and directory services. The role does not entail hands-on system administration. This role is responsible for keeping multiple IT infrastructure projects on track and ensuring they are completed according to specifications and standards. This role is responsible for SOX compliance of all platforms including participation and review of all quarterly SOX controls. Responsible for reviewing and approving all changes to the platform environment.
Engagement duration: 6-12 months.
Skills:
Excellent communication skills
Strong technical experience allowing them to review project requirements, technical specifications, technical action plans
Process-oriented
Experience with working with managed service providers
Experience working in a SOX audited environment and participating in SOX audit activities
Experience in multi-datacenter environments
Experience with best practices such as ITIL V3
Preferred experience in the following disciplines of IT infrastructure: Azure, VMware, Nutanix, AIX, NetApp, EMC, Networker & Data Domain, Linux, Windows, Active Directory, Citrix
Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
Adept at conducting research into product and service-related issues
An analytical mind-set with great problem-solving abilities

Offering and roadmap review
Ticket management
Change management (quality review, implementation plan review and approval, post-implementation review, pre-approved change template review)
Incident management (quality review)
Problem management (quality review, preventative action review and approval)
Lifecycle management
Capacity planning
Technology stack alignment with business requirements
Hardware refresh planning and execution
Hardware and software maintenance contract review and renewal
Budget & cost management
Collaboration with Solutions Architecture
Technology review and evaluation
Consultation on standards and strategy
Architectural design review and sign-off
Policy, standards and process improvement
Audit & compliance
Quarterly SOX audits related to operations & logical access review
Ad-hoc audit requests from internal & external auditors
Policy & standards compliance review
Access control approval and review
Project sponsorship and oversight
Projects:
Rollout of hyperconverged infrastructure (Nutanix) across 15 sites around the globe
Deploy of global backup solution
Decommission and upgrade of multiple legacy Citrix farms
Upgrade of VMware farms across the globe
Upgrade of Active Directory domain functional level
Support of Application Infrastructure Modernization project designed to eliminate unsupported server operating systems
Perform Infoblox DHCP replacement and operationalize of EfficientIP DD
Perform server & storage refresh in McCormick’s primary datacenter
Perform server & storage refresh in remote datacenters
Participate ITGC transformation project including a redesign and automation of SOX controls
