Flexibility around the hours worked would be expected to cover out of office IT related/office projects. This role will expose the successful candidate to the latest cutting-edge technologies.
Work location is London however we will provide the opportunity to work flexibility between the office and from home.
What will you be doing …
Help Desk:
Provide assistance to all supported end-users.
Prioritize, Assign and Respond to all incoming support requests within agreed service timeframes.
Participate in call rotation to support a global Helpdesk.
Hardware and Software:
New hardware & software installation and configuration.
Assist with the IT portion of the new hire process.
Troubleshooting PC hardware and software
Troubleshoot email enabled devices.
Regular IT equipment checks.
Liaise with third party suppliers for hardware repairs & software support.
Add / Move / Change user’s equipment.
Network Support:
User and computer account administration within Active Directory.
Assist the Network Administrator with networking related support / projects.
Office installation and troubleshooting including network cabling.
Asset Management:
Assist in keeping an up-to-date inventory of assets across all TCEG divisions.
What do you need to have …
Experience:
Support of macOS and Microsoft Windows 10.
Support Microsoft Active Directory environment.
Hardware / software configuration and troubleshooting.
Working knowledge of email enabled devices.
Basic IP Network troubleshooting skills.
Skills Required:
Proven customer service skills.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Good organization and time management skills.
Team player
Ability to multitask.
Basic working knowledge of MS Active Directory.
Proficient on MS Windows operating systems and macOS.
Good working knowledge of PC Desktop/Laptop hardware and Mac desktop/laptop hardware
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 years’ experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Minimum 1 years’ experience with MS Office 2016 and newer.
Minimum 1 years’ experience with macOS.
Other Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License in good standing
Microsoft Certified qualification, advantageous but not essential
Apple Certified qualification, advantageous but not essential
Travel
Up to 10% domestic travel to other TCEG offices.
