The Purpose of This Role
As Network Engineer in the ANS team will be responsible for network operations of the network landscape for Fidelity Investments globally.
The Value You Deliver
To be a successful candidate, you will need to have a strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware. You will also need to be able to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including WAPs, firewalls, routers, switches, and controllers. A deep knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols is highly desired.
The Skills that are Key to this role
Technical / Behavioral
Experience with TCP/IP, including knowledge of common-service applications.
Routed/Routing Protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF, VPNs
Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware.
Troubleshoot issues related to the network environment
Escalating issues as needed
Experience with HPE, Cisco routing and switching.
Network Engineering and Troubleshooting skills
Application Traffic Analysis
Switched Protocols: PVST, RPVST, MST, VXLAN
WLAN/LAN/WAN engineering and implementation.
Experience with ITIL and Project Management.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Experience with 802.1x configuration and troubleshooting.
Experience with 802.1x switch configuration and tuning for Cisco and HP switch platforms.
Communication and presentation skills.
Experience with Multi-vendor Supplicant configurations.
Documentation of complex technologies and topologies based on based practices
The Skills that are Good to Have for this role
Experience with Wireshark packet captures
Experience with Amazon AWS
Microsoft Azure/O365
Experience with ExpressRoute configuration and setup (Azure private, Azure public, Microsoft peering)
Good to have Scripting skills such as Python, Ansible (not a must)
How Your Work Impacts the Organization
You will be responsible for providing Network incident management and resolution work solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks
The Expertise We’re Looking For
2-4.6 years of IT experience
Graduate
Location: Chennai/Bangalore
Shift timings: 9:00 pm – 5:00pm
