HP Looking for Business Intelligence Solution Architect at Bengaluru, Karnataka Full Time

You like designing solutions for planning and reporting?

The BI Solution Architect works hand in hand with the IT organisation and external partners to design the technical solution, dataflows and operational processes.

He/she applies advanced subject matter knowledge to address complex business requirements. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Understands business management processes and drives design of digital solutions

Turns business requirements into a state-of-the-art planning and reporting system

Leads end to end design development, testing and deployment of new / enhanced solutions

Coordinates project resources / SMEs towards a successful delivery of the solution

Reports frequently on projects evolution, overcomes roadblocks or proposes alternatives

Seeks for guidance and forces decision making as needed; act as the voice of the customer

Leads the operational aspects of the solutions and ensures 100% on time delivery and 0% quality/integrity issues

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

Typically 8-10 years work experience designing and implementing BI / Planning solutions

Advanced university degree (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent

Ability to design solid technical concepts from sourcing of data to enabling user frontends

Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills (Excel, Databases)

Out of the box thinking and creativity to solve challenges

Good communication skills (i.e. written, verbal, presentation), leadership, consulting, influence, and negotiation skills. Mastery in English.

Advanced knowledge and understanding of Business Planning concepts

Strong business acumen and process knowledge within area of responsibility

Knowledge and subject matter expertise for HP operational processes, industry trends, and customer/partner requirements.

Additional skills that will be considered a plus:
Experience with one or more of the following Business Intelligence / Planning solutions: PowerBI, Thoughtspot, Tableau, Anaplan
